Designed and built to be one of the first carbon-neutral luxury communities in the world, we have carefully considered every detail in our efforts to limit human impact on this pristine environment. Built with the last sustainable building materials and the most avanced tecnologies in alternative energy production, The Nature Sanctuary is a leader in environmental responsibility. Electricity is provided by the country´s largest hydro-electric power plant and solar panel. A biomass septic system discharges water that is safe for irrigation of property grounds. Potable water come from rain harvesting and water treatment plant is mandatory in each property. Community pool will utilize saltwater, lightly filtered, from the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
